Why should I ride with Alex?
We have worked with Alex for a couple of years now in a couple of different capacities. From riding lessons, to individual training, and rehab for our two rescues. She is amazingly patient, communicates directions clearly, and tailors each session to the person and horse she is working with. We have seen incredible progress since Alex started with our thoroughbred; when we got him, he was underweight and severely neglected. She has also created development/rehab for our overweight lawn pony, who is now being mentally and physically challenged for the first time in years. They are both getting stronger and healthier by the day, and so much of that is thanks to the dedication and love Alex has shown them both. We owe so much of our own growth and knowledge of caring for and rehabbing our horses, to Alex.

There aren’t words to describe how thankful we are to have the privilege of knowing and learning from Alex. She became a safe haven for my 9-year-old daughter, and a role model that Ava strives to become. Alex is kind, patient and knowledgeable. With her you don’t just get an instructor, you get a very special human. I will never go to anyone else for myself, or my girls, where Alex goes we go!

Even though I had a solid foundation of horse knowledge when I met Alex, she really helped me go above and beyond with my skills. She was patient and caring and I never felt judged or frustrated when she was instructing me. I would highly recommend Alex to any and all people, whether they’re beginners or have years of experience!

Miss Alex is the best teacher ever. I am dying to get back to her soon. She made my heart hurt less when she brought me cookies after my dog died. And she came to my birthday. So that’s cool. She taught me so much about riding and falling. I learned how to take care of horses, and I want to be just as good of a teacher as Alex when I grow up

Alex and I have been riding and training horses together since we were about nine or ten. I probably know her horsemanship style better than anyone else does. She listens to the horse and really works as a team with them, accomplishing amazing things together. While I chose to focus on my jumping career, Alex chose to focus on teaching and training other equestrians. She's kind and considerate and always encourages her students to do more and be better. She helps them feel confident in their skills and gives them a solid foundation for a lifetime of horsemanship. I would, and do, recommend her lesson program to everyone I know!
